You'll need some cleaning supplies.  Canned air towles and some cleaner.
Advertize your self out to go clean some vents use the "CLEAN AIR" as your tag to get people thinking about the fact they need to be cleaning there vents so they can live heathier.

This one takes a little more then just your standard store type advertizing you should go to some locale buisnesses offering your services.

Gift Card Resale Start up $100-$200

Every onegets Gift cards for Birthdays and Holidays most of the time its for places they dont shop.
So buy them for cash.  subtract 25% of the value and then reselll them for 5% less then the value easy.

People want caswh and you just become the middle man selling them off to customers and buying them from people that don't want them.

Things to think about when starting up.

This is a not a start up but some things to consider when starting your new business.

I hate cutting my lawn and so do most people why not cut other peoples lawn and make some money doing it.  Really all you need are A gas powered lawn mower and a gas powered weed wackier.

Gas powered because people don't want you using there power and them paying extra for it.

Make your self some flyer and go stick them on peoples doors wait for the called and start cutting.

Deck Treatment Service Start Up $200-$300

Every year people build decks of of there homes and every year people who have decks neglect them.
Why not offer your services with a good weather seal coating on the deck for your client.
Start up for this is pretty inexpensive you charge the customer for the supplies up front and spend a day painting the deck off of there house.

Advertise out for deck sealing service at local hard ware stores and with contractors who build te decks.
After they build them you seal it for the customer the contractor does all the work finding the customer for you.

This is such an easy start up its silly.

So people never think of whats in there desk top but you should.  With the fans sucking in Dust, dirt, animal hair, ect....

Every one wants a clean car why not go to them.
What you need

• Portable Vacuum (Battery Powered)
• Garbage Bags
• Gloves
• Car interior Polish 
• Micro-Fiber Rag
• Paper towels

That's now finding clients.

Advertise in the local paper, local car magazines and at your local auto parts store.

Word of mouth is going to be your biggest form of advertising so make sure your telling your clients to let there friends know about your services.

POOP Resale Start up $500-$1000

Horse farms create a lot of poop what do they do with it this is were you start to make some money.
If you don't mind shoveling some poop.
You go to some farms and ask if they need someone to hale away the house poop then you charge a modest fee for you time and trouble
Re- Bag and mix it with some top soil and sell it as fertilizer to the local garden store easy way to drum up a great income.

Oven Cleaning Service Start up $50

No one wants to do it but it does have to be done so why not you.
Simple way to go about it is get some cleaning supplies and advertize yourself out.
Your money will come from your repeat customers. 
Offer a special 1 yr package for $120 and once a month clean some ones oven.
You should be able todo 4 to 5 a day.
And if your doing it 5 days a week that's a great income.

Fence Painting Service Start up $100-$200

Fences are expensive not only to put up or have put up.
They can also be very expensive to fix.  A god coat of treatment every year or even every other year can keep it looking good and stay together for years.

Most people fence in there yarn and forget about it.  This business requires you to let the customer understand the value of the service you provide.  Depending on the size of the fence will determine the price to paint it.

Most of your cost is going to come from the ladders a good 8foot and a 25 footer.

People buy GPS all the time why not be the guy that puts them in you need a basic understanding of how they are powered and how to run the power to it.  You can pick up an aux 12v power plug at almost any electronics retailer.  Install it under the dash and mount the GPS in a vent bracket use a good one and make it nice and clean you will be drilling into a customers dash in most cases.

The start up is just printing out fliers and you might want to get a couple leashes and doggie treats.

So all you need is a good pair of gloves and a little time.
Pulling weeds out of gardens is an easy quick way to earn some extra cash.

Pulling weeds is a time consuming job that people just don't want to do in there gardens so they can pay you to do it for them.

Charging any were from $10-$15 per hour this can be some serious income.

Scoop POOP Start up $50-$100

It may not be some thing you think of but cleaning up after dogs is a great way to bring in some extra income.

No one wants to clean up after there dog so why don't you do it for them.  You can charge any were from $10-$25 a shoot and if you do it weekly for some one it can be a steady income.

The cost in start up is garbage bags and some gloves.  (maybe a can to toss the wast in.

Great places to advertise are local vets offices, super market boards and the internet.

Toy Cleaning Services Start up $100

So you have to get yourself some Cleaning wipes and a bucket and soap.
Advertise as a toy sanitation service.

Go to peoples homes and clean some toys kids get dirty then play with toys you clean them. soak wipe and sanitize that's it.

To really bring in the cash go to the locale day care centers and offer your services daily after they close.
With all the children and germs floating around in the place its a great way for you to get yourself a steady income and keep kids from getting sick from the other children.

Audio Video Conversion Service Start up $100-$500

Lots of people have old VHS tapes, 8mm, Slides, 8 tracks and other old technology,
Getting a Audio video converter for your computer and coping them to DVD and CD could bring you a nice income.
Starting small is the key to the success of this business satart with tapes and VHS since the converters are inexpensive for a nice one and you can do both with one device.
As you get some clients in you can get some of the equipment to start doing 8mm and 8tracks you can also get a LP to USB play er for about $100.

This business takes TIME and a lot of it since in most cases you have to listen to or watch the media as its being copied and there is no way to speed the process up.  (But if you archive the more popular stuff you can just pull from you copies.)

I will say I think you need to have a passion for ALL music and any Video you look at.

Window Washer Start up $50-$100

This is a great one if you don't mind getting soap on you.
Go from business to business in a strip mall and ask to wash there outside windows for $20.
Most places will be up for it because no one that works there wants to do it there self.

So you have friends and family that always need to have some one watch there children while they go to work and that time when the kids get out of school and you don't get home from work for another hour or 2.

So why don't you use that as a way to make a few extra dollars charge them $10 a hour to pick the kids up from the bus.  If its and all day thing charge $8 an hr.  Short notice times $15 an hr always full hours never 1/2 hr times and there you go enjoy some kids for a little while and make some cash.

With all at FREE Web page software out there making a web page is a breeze takes like 20 min and most of that is typing in the text for a specific site content.
There are millions of free temples out there and creating your own today is just drag and drop.
First you think if its so easy why would some one pay.

4. Can't type

The reasons go on and on if your willing to do it for some one there willing to pay for it.

You can charge any were from $15-$50 per page depending on how much you actually have to type and if you need to truly customize the pages.

Video Game Review $150-$300

This one can be lots of fun.
New Video games come out all the time most have a demo version available for download from PlayStation network, Microsoft, And Nintendo.

The Big cost comes in from the system the accounts are free for the most part.
So to make some money from this is down load play and review there are sights out there that will pay for the reviews.  You can also post the videos online at YouTube for free and monitze them after they get enough views.
You could also start a web site and add a subscription for $5 to $10 a month for your reviews E-mailed straight to your subscribers.

Senior transportation $100-$500 (and your car)

A lot of senior citizens need to get around town and can't drive anymore.  A little of your time and gas money you can help out some people and even fell good about it.

Advertising in Doctor offices, Nursing homes, and Over 65 communities.(News Paper is an option also)

Charge like $15 hour and .50 cents a mile this is a steal for someone who cant't drive and a cab charges to much to wait and if they don't wait the person has to wait up to 2hr or more for them to return.  A flat rat price can be budgeted.

Freelance Actor/Extra Start up $0-$100

Search the internet for Film extras wanted and show up this is easy money all you have to do is be in the shot.  You can typically get any were from $50 - $100 depending on how much of the frame your in and how many other people are there.

Best part its a film credit for you and that puts you out there if you wanted to do some more film.

You might want to get some head shoots of your self just in case there is a chance for a line or two.

Your best place to start this is low budget B films every one to day is making them and most are willing to pay something for you to pop your head in.

Blade-Sharpening Start up $200-$500

People own Blades in the Kitchen on there walls were ever in the house they find them to go well.

All you need is a blade sharpened some blade oils and a good Micro-Fiber cloth.
Advertise your self out with some Business cards and on the internet and Blade sharpener and cleaner.

Go out and clean some blades and sharpen them you can charge between $10-$50 per blade depending on the size and how dull it is.

Be professorial about it and put the cloth down to not damage the blade or scratch the handle.

Have fun with this one and be careful not to cut yourself on that nice sharp blade.

Bulk Resale Start up $100-$1000

So you see things on Auction sites in Whole Sale lots or Bulk.
These are great ways to start Inventory up and start making some Cash.

Few Things I recommend are

1. Buy things you know and Like
2. Buy things easily broken up and resold quickly (i.e. Look and see if people are buying the items)
3. Don't ask to much for the products.
4. Don't over BUY stuff (our you will be stuck with things you can do nothing with)

Find a product your know because if you don't sell it at least its some thing you might want.

But if you want it so does some one else.

Make sure when you break up the lots you add something to each broken up piece that people a specifically looking for that's the Key item and will sell the group then your not stuck with that extra item.

I have done this with E Bay mostly and found some very good success.

I did Vintage Video games whle I was collecting Atari Games.  To get the game I wanted I could only find them in lots then I resold the extras made a nice profit over 2 years.

Thats why do some thing you like so it interests you.

Recycle Old Computers Start up Cost Gas money $50

This is an easy one.  If you know a little about computers this is a quick easy start up.

Advertise for recycling computers.
As people call to get ride of there old systems you go get them hook them up clean them out factor re install the OS and wipe out the data on them.

• If they are non functional use parts to build ones that work.
• Take them to recycle centers
• Give to Charity (Tax deduction $25 per unit)

List on an auction site or classified site for $25 to $50.
Instant profit.

This one only takes time (some travel so setup and break down)

Can collector Start up $25

So simple way to make a few extra bucks every day is just picking up Aluminium cans off the side of the road.
Depending were you live Recycle centers will pay either by the pound or by the can.
this is the cheapest way to make a few dollars each day and all you need is.

• Garbage Bags
• Gloves
• Time

Take a walk to the local recycling center bag in hand collect the cans alonge the side of the road.  Depending on were the center is and how busy an area you should make a few bucks and get some exercise. 

Clearance Shopper/Re seller Start up $100-$500

This one takes a little work.
Retail businesses continually Clearance out old product for the newest items.

Going store to store to find the best deals on there clearance and reselling it with a profit.
The real key to this being successful is making the deal.  Any coupons offered or discounts given take advantage of.

• Buy this and get some thing of the next item buy them both
• Surveys take them for the coupons or discount code.
• Add your email (or create one just for your shopping resale business.)

This may seem like a crazy idea but you can make some nice profits on the resale of unwanted products from big bushiness.

Computer Back Ground Photographer Start up $100-$300

Every one likes a nice background on there computer.  People search all over the internet for the right image so why not charge them for it.

A Dollar each won't break there bank but may fill yours.

Get your self a good digital camera and take pictures of every thing you can.

• Grass Planes
• Mountains
• Water Falls
• Cars/Trucks (No Licence Plates)

Then post thume nail images on Auction sites Classified sites and were every else you can think of.

Start ups need a logo if you have some talent and can draw or create on your computer this is a great income starter.

People start businesses every day and forget the loge or have something not very creative.  this is were you come in creating there logo.

Your big start up cost is some good software for the logo creation.

There pricey programs but give you the flex ability to design some great images.

You can do Groceries, Clothing, or any other type of shopping.

Make sure you set a radios for the deliveries and pick ups then charge accordingly based on travel time out side your area.  (About 25 to 50 cents a mile is a good range)

Become a coupon clipper as additional profits for your business.  you charge full price (or some discount) and what you save is your bonus.

Its so simple Advertising and watch the customers roll in.

Apartment Cleaning Service $500 Start up

Start up cost is about $500 .
Go to local Apartment complexes set up clean up contracts with them so when people move out you come in and clean up.
Most apartment complexes turn about 10 apartments a month.  Charging $50 for each apartment is about $500 per complex getting just 4 complexes will yield you a $1500-$2000 each month for a few hours of work each day.
